# Helpmonks selected to join Joyent’s node.js incubator program

We are proud and honored that [Helpmonks](http://helpmonks.com/?ref=thenitai.com) has been selected by [Joyent](http://joyent.com/?ref=thenitai.com) to participate as one of the **first inaugural members to the Node.js Incubator program**.

After reviewing hundreds of applications, [Joyent](http://joyent.com/?ref=thenitai.com) selected [Helpmonks](http://helpmonks.com/?ref=thenitai.com) as it is completely build in node.js and leverages every aspect of node.js. Node.js is critical to the success of Helpmonks and has proven to be a very reliable language to build any kind of project. *(We’ve* [*outlined the Helpmonks architecture*](https://blog.helpmonks.com/how-we-build-our-web-application-helpmonks-architecture/?ref=thenitai.com) *in the past.)*

The node.js incubator is a 1-year long program. We will update our progress on this blog, as we will move forward together with Joyent on this adventure.
