Hello there

My name is Nitai Aventaggiato. I am the Founder of Razuna. Razuna Ltd. is the company that build and released a quite widely used open source Digital Asset Management Systems called Razuna.

As a serial entrepreneur I have founded a couple of companies in the past. One of them was one of the first Apple Online-Stores called “MacTrade” in Switzerland (which was later on sold). Later on I build ComputerOil, a company specialized on Content Management Systems (CMS), both supporting companies and building our own Content Management System. ComputerOil was later on sold to another company, that build with my help a worldwide network for Digital Signage. My software was a big part of that companies success.

On addition to my hands-on entrepreneurial expertise I am a board member of the sustainability project called “White-Project”, which engages into a better greener environment for the greater area of Zurich, Switzerland.

In the last couple of months you could see me talking at different conferences. Companies like to take me on a supporting consultant role for their Content Management & Digital Media projects. My technical skills are broad and deep, but management loves the fact that I can speak to them in words they understand.

On the technical side I know my way around with Coldfusion (CFML) for over 10 years, Oracle, DB2, MySQL and know a bit more then how to do a “Select..” statement in SQL (stored procedures, XML, etc come to mind). Additionally, I feel at home on MacOS (using it since OS 6.x), Windows (Server and Client) and Linux (early adapter of RedHat, CentOS and recently in love with Ubuntu).
